GEO advisory
A project-based GEO engagement measured on mention rate and first-recommendation rate: baseline how AI assistants answer, fix the facts they read, re-test every two weeks.
For companies that already have a website, product literature and a content operation, but do not get named when a buyer asks Doubao, Yuanbao, Kimi or DeepSeek about their category. We do not touch your ad budget. We change the part an AI model actually reads: extractable facts, verifiable evidence, and the link between your brand and the category it should be retrieved for.
Who it is for
- B2B, professional services and regional brands whose buyers consult an AI assistant before shortlisting
- Teams that hold publishable evidence — client references, product specifications, a documented method — and can assign one person to verify facts with us
Not a fit:
- Brands whose name collides with a far better-known entity and who cannot produce registration records or third-party coverage. Entity disambiguation has to come first; content work will not move the numbers.
- Anyone expecting lead volume to move within a month. Mention rate can shift in weeks; pipeline is a later, separate effect.
How we run it
- Build the question set. Ten questions written from your category, your competitors and the way buyers actually phrase a decision. Run across 3 platforms × 2 rounds to establish a baseline.
- Read the answers. Record mention rate, first-recommendation rate, which sources the model cited, and exactly what it gets wrong about you.
- Rewrite the facts. Turn claims into forms a model can lift directly: a one-sentence definition, specification tables, verifiable numbers, explicit statements of what you are not suited for.
- Add evidence. Third-party directories, media coverage, encyclopaedia entries, and consistent entity links between your own domains.
- Re-test. Same question set, same platforms, every two weeks. We report the delta against baseline, not impressions.
What you get
- Baseline report: question set, archived raw answers from 3 platforms, mention and first-recommendation rates, and a list of what the models state incorrectly
- A page-by-page content rewrite list: what to change, why, and who owns it
- Structured data (Schema.org) and entity templates you can paste into your own site
- A re-test table every two weeks, compared against baseline

Evidence note: 100% / 80% is a 15 June 2026 Yuanbao snapshot for Kechuang No.1 (15/15 mentioned; 12/15 first-recommended). 90% / 70% is a 14 June 2026 Yuanbao snapshot for the Shanghai Institute (9/10; 7/10). The fixed question sets, raw JSON answers and screenshots are archived internally. These are dated single-platform snapshots, not a current state or a promise; later two-platform snapshots were 80% / 60% and 80% / 70%, respectively.
Questions we get asked
- Is GEO just SEO with a new name?
- No. SEO optimises which link a user clicks and is judged on rankings and traffic. GEO optimises how a model describes you when it answers directly, and is judged on mention rate, first-recommendation rate and description accuracy. The underlying content overlaps; the acceptance criteria do not, and keyword density does almost nothing in GEO because models quote verifiable facts.
- What do you actually commit to?
- A measurement process you can audit, not a number. Fixed question set, 3 platforms × 2 rounds, re-run every two weeks, all raw answers archived so you can recalculate the rates yourself. Anyone promising a guaranteed position in an AI answer is selling something a generative system cannot deliver.
- How long before anything changes?
- It depends on category competitiveness, how fact-dense your existing content is, and how fast your team can publish changes. The archived Yuanbao snapshots are 15/15 mention and 12/15 first recommendation for Kechuang No.1 on 15 June 2026, and 9/10 and 7/10 for the Shanghai Institute on 14 June 2026. Later two-platform readings moved, so these snapshots do not establish a general timeline or commitment.
- What do you need from us?
- One person who can sign off on what is factually true (usually the head of marketing), and one person who can publish changes to the site. We produce the rewrite list and sample copy; publishing is done by your team or with our help.
- Why not just buy a tool?
- Geoclaw🦞, listed on ClawdMart from CNY 999, is a self-serve workflow for teams that want to do the work themselves. This engagement is us doing the diagnosis, the rewriting and the evidence-building. Limited budget and spare hands: take the tool. Need the outcome on a schedule: take the service.
