AI SEO agency: get your brand recommended in AI answers
Moments is an AI SEO agency: we measure how ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI answers and Chinese AI assistants describe your brand, then fix the facts they cite.
What we optimize for
Buyers increasingly ask an AI assistant "who should I hire for…" and read the answer instead of a list of links. If the answer does not name you, or names you with the wrong facts, no amount of page-one ranking makes up for it. Our work as an AI SEO agency is to make sure the models that answer those questions know who you are, describe you accurately, and have verifiable reasons to recommend you.
| Market | Platforms we test | Question sets |
|---|---|---|
| Overseas buyers | ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google’s AI answers | English question sets for exporters and brands selling outside China |
| Chinese buyers | Doubao, Tencent Yuanbao, Kimi, DeepSeek, Baidu | Chinese question sets for brands competing in the Chinese market |
How an engagement runs
- Question set. We agree a fixed set of questions real buyers ask (our published cases used 10 and 15) an AI assistant before they shortlist a vendor — category, comparison and "who is best for…" questions — in the buyer’s language.
- Baseline. Each question is run on each platform and the raw answers and screenshots are archived. That gives mention rate, first-recommendation rate and description accuracy per platform, not one blended score.
- Diagnosis. We sort every miss into one of three layers: the model has never heard of you, it describes you wrongly, or it mentions you behind competitors. Each layer has a different fix.
- Fix the sources. Entity consistency across your site and profiles, extractable answer-first pages, structured data, and third-party evidence the models already cite. No keyword stuffing.
- Re-test. Same questions, same platforms, on a cycle, compared against the baseline. Results are reported with dates and raw evidence.
The method is the same one we publish in our glossary: question sets, mention rate, first-recommendation rateand baseline re-tests.
AI SEO vs traditional SEO
| Traditional SEO | AI SEO | |
|---|---|---|
| Goal | Rank a page on a results list | Be named — correctly — inside the AI answer |
| Metric | Rankings, clicks, sessions | Mention rate, first-recommendation rate, description accuracy |
| Unit of work | Individual pages and keywords | How the brand is described across the whole web |
| Evidence | Rank trackers | Archived AI answers and screenshots per question |
| Overlap | Crawlability, structured data, useful content | Same foundations — different acceptance criteria |

Dated snapshots from client work
Kechuang No.1
Shanghai Institute of Industrial Transformation
Yichi Garden
Evidence note: 100% / 80% is a 15 June 2026 Yuanbao snapshot for Kechuang No.1 (15/15 mentioned; 12/15 first-recommended). 90% / 70% is a 14 June 2026 Yuanbao snapshot for the Shanghai Institute (9/10; 7/10). The fixed question sets, raw JSON answers and screenshots are archived internally. These are dated single-platform snapshots, not a current state or a promise; later two-platform snapshots were 80% / 60% and 80% / 70%, respectively. How to choose an AI SEO agency
- Do they show raw AI answers and screenshots, or only a dashboard score?
- Do they measure each AI platform separately, with the question set written down before work starts?
- Do they re-test the same questions against a dated baseline?
- Do they refuse to guarantee a "top 3" AI position? (No one controls a generative model’s ranking.)
- Can they fix the underlying sources — your site, profiles, third-party coverage — not just publish more blog posts?

Questions buyers ask us
What does an AI SEO agency do?
It works on how AI assistants and AI search features describe and recommend your brand. In practice: define the questions buyers ask, measure what ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI answers and other assistants say today, find why you are missing or misdescribed, fix the sources those models draw on, and re-test against the baseline.
Is AI SEO the same as GEO or AEO?
They describe the same territory from different angles. Generative engine optimization (GEO) focuses on how a model understands the brand as an entity; answer engine optimization (AEO) focuses on making content easy to lift as an answer. "AI SEO" is the umbrella buyers search for. We do all three as one programme measured by mention rate.
Do I still need traditional SEO?
Usually yes. AI search features retrieve from the web, so crawlable, well-structured pages still matter. The difference is the acceptance criteria: we judge the work by what the AI answer says, not by rank or sessions. Where an SEO programme already runs, the two coexist.
Can you guarantee my brand appears first in ChatGPT?
No. Generative systems do not expose a controllable ranking table, so any guaranteed position has no technical basis. What we guarantee is the method: real platform answers, archived evidence, and the same measurement basis every round.
How much does it cost?
The GEO audit of your public website is free. Geoclaw🦞, our self-serve GEO workflow kit, is listed from CNY 999 on ClawdMart. Advisory engagements, where we run the programme with your team, are scoped per project. See the pricing page for every service line.
Who do you work with?
Moments is based in Shanghai. Most clients are Chinese companies — including exporters that need to be found by overseas buyers through ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI answers — and international brands that need accurate visibility in Chinese AI assistants. Correspondence and reports are available in English.
